Luang Phor Panya Nantha Bhikkhu was born in Khuha Sawan Sub-district, Mueang Phatthalung District, Phatthalung Province, on Thursday, May 11, 1911, formerly known as Pan Sane Charoen. After living a lay life until he was 18 years old, he was ordained as a novice at Wat Upanantanaram, Ranong Province, with a monk Ranangkamuni as the preceptor. When he reached the age of 20, he was ordained as a monk at Nang Lat Temple, Mueang District, Phatthalung Province, with Phra Charunkarasaya, as the preceptor in 1931.
